| Handmade backgammon boards by Svilo are known all over the world. Svilo started designing backgammon boards in 1992. There are 4 sizes of backgammon boards. Jumbo backgammon sets have 50mm checker, King Size boards have 44mm checkers, Standard backgammon boards and Golden anchor boards use 40mm checker, Compact backgammon boards have 33mm checker. |
| The Tournament backgammon boards (King Size and Golden Anchor) are 62cm. and 53cm. long. The Jumbo backgammon board is 66cm. long and it is already too large to carry around. Still some players prefer to play tournament backgammon on them. The reason is both the luxury feel and the better visibility for camera recording and broadcast. Even the Compact backgammon boards by Svilo (48cm. long) are used to play tournament backgammon. This board is a little larger than a large wooden backgammon board. It has a better luxury feel and is quieter indeed. |

Golden Anchor backgammon set (21")  Golden Anchor backgammon sets have the same size as the Standard S40 boards (21x26 inch open). Actually, GA was meant as an improvement, but both lines have continued their development for the last 6 years. The backgammon set Golden Anchor was designed for luxury, ease of play and heavy duty. Playing surface is inlaid, the best leather dice cups since 1991, checkers have 40 mm. diameter. Gold color combination locks. |
